World War II Munitions
Damian's prior military experience included de-fuzing World War II German Airdropped Munitions. Pictured on the left, sat down, is then Lt Walker and his team from 2 Troop, 21 Field Squadron, 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) having sucessfully dealt with a 'Herman' - a 2,200lb bomb that was found in a housing estate in Woodley, near Reading in 1999.
If you feel that your project may be at risk of unexploded ordnance (UXO), then please contact us for a free consultation. We have numerous consultants who have worked for years in this market (all ex-military bomb disposal officers), and we can advise you on your course of action, provide intrusive search to discount the threat, or provide skilled and qualified staff on hand to identify and react to any finds. We can also conduct training and safety briefs for any staff who may encounter items of UXO.
